April 1, 1991
An adjourned public meeting of the View Preservation Committee of
the City of Rolling Hills was called to order by Chairman Crocker
at 8:03 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 1991, in the City Council Chambers
at the City Hall/Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills, California.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Committee Member Hummel and Crocker.
ABSENT: Committee Member Horn.
ALSO PRESENT: Craig R. Nealis, City Manager
OLD BUSINESS
CONSIDERATION OF VIEW IMPAIRMENT COMPLAINT REGARDING TREES (S)
AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATION:
LOCATION: it QUAIL RIDGE SOUTH
PROPERTY OWNER: DORIS McNABB
COMPLAINANT: SAMUEL AND BURT ARNOLD, 2 SPUR
LANE.
CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO: 90 -1 -VPC
A RESOLUTION OF THE ROLLING HILLS VIEW PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
DECLARING A VIEW IMPAIRMENT CAUSED BY SPECIFIC TREES LOCATED
AT 11 QUAIL RIDGE SOUTH ON PROPERTY OWNED BY MRS. DORIS
MCNABB.
Committee Member Crocker summerized the Resolution and recognized
the submission of a settlement offer that has been signed by the
McNabbs and the Arnolds in the above referenced case.
Mr. David M. Turner, Attorney, representing Mrs. McNabb, objected
to the adoption of the subject Resolution and suggested that the
Committee approve the settlement between the two parties or include
the language of the settlement in the City Resolution.
Discussion ensued regarding these suggestions.

ACTION: Chairman Crocker moved to adopt Resolution No. 90 -1 -VPC
subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney and to include
the agreement between the NcNabbs and the Arnolds also subject to
review and approval by the City Attorney. Committee Member Hummel
seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:30
a.m.
